I teach all ages from a few weeks old, upwards, and any ability or disability. Aquatherapy is here for your whole family, and their Aquatic needs.
My Company Aquatherapy is mainly based at Bardwell School hydro Swimming pool in Bicester and has been running now for 20 years.
Swimming is a life saving skill and should be affordable for everyone, therefore I have made sure my prices are the most competitive around with the highest standard of teaching.
I have designed my class programmes so that they are suitable for mainstream and those with SEN.
The warm water helps to relax and stimulate the body as well as helping blood circulation.
You will not find any classes like these anywhere.
Each person is seen as an individual and each and everyone of us learn at our own pace.
Psychology plays a big part in the way I teach and I have developed a programme which I call the TLC approach to swimming, especially for those that have a fear/anxiety in or around water (See the TLC Approach page)
Nothing is ever forced in my classes, only ever gently encouraged.

My Name is Andrea Douglas and I have been teaching for more than 35 years.
I am known as THE Leading Swim Specialist in Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire. This title originally given to me by County due to being highly qualified in many methods of swimming, Aqua Development, and Health, and from working at the Ormerod School in Oxford for children with physical disabilities.
Whether you are very young or in your senior years, swimming is the best form of exercise and physical, emotional and mental therapy there is.
